I’m so so glad you found your way to Forty Wink! Now that you’re here, let’s get straight to it
What is a Forty Wink, and what can you expect from us?
Ok, so the name Forty Wink is a little confusing. Let me lay things out for you. The definition of forty winks is “a short sleep or nap, especially during the day.” The ideas found on this website exist in huge part because of these naps — specifically my baby Sutton’s naps. As a new mom wanting to create projects and do things outside of caring for our tiny human, naptime has become very very important.
Let’s move on and talk about what we’re doing here at Forty Wink. At its core, we want to create a space for people to engage with like-minded individuals, content, and products that speak to them on a personal level. Enough with taboo subject matter, or keeping helpful information under lock and key. We’re here to share, and create a space for parents/new parents/guardians/general cool people to feel like they’re part of a community.
Why is this important?
When you become a parent, you cross a proverbial threshold and enter into a whole new world. Trust me, it’s beautiful, but it’s also filled with sleepless nights, endless googling, and questioning your every move. All of a sudden you’re transformed into a person who could spend hours talking to whoever will listen to you about basic human functions — all while wondering if you’re the only one going through what you’re currently going through.
We’re here to tell you heck no, you are not. Better yet… let’s make sure that no parent or guardian ever feels this way again. Let’s normalize parenthood together.

How can you become part of this super cool community?
First off, it needs to be said that Forty Wink is a baby in its own right. We don’t know what it’ll grow up to be, but we have high hopes.
