Meet Alex, a perpetual creative based in Edmonton, Alberta. With a Diploma of Fine Arts from MacEwan University and a Bachelor of Design from the University of Alberta, her professional journey has spanned various iterations, from in-house design, to advertising studios, and software design. As she embraces the joyful chaos of life with a young family, Alex is shifting her focus to her freelance practice, where her creativity gets to evolve to what suits her.

While she has, and always will enjoy the design process, Alex has discovered the value that community and connection bring to her professional growth. She takes time away from her screen to engage with others, co-hosting events, serving on local design boards, and collaborating with individuals and companies who strive to make positive change, challenge societal norms, and make their mark.
