Resource Round Up with Allyse Haley
Through trial + error, dishing with other parents and scouring the internet, we all eventually figure out what works best for us. We curate a resource list of trusty go-to’s that help lead us through parenthood... then what?
One of our goals at Forty Wink is to share this priceless knowledge with others. Today we’re lucky to be joined by Allyse Haley as she takes us through some of her favourite resources for her growing 10 month old Olsen!

Resource No. 1: Ikea Toddle Truck
This little toy is just endless hours of fun. Olsen is just learning how to stand, so we use it to give him and his toys rides around the house.

Resource No. 2: Lovevery Play Kits
Joining Lovevery was hard for me because I find it expensive. However, it has been such a gift these past few months to have toys that keep up with my baby. They also send additional emails every couple weeks with new tips for different ways to use the toys. The tips do not just pertain to their products! Every time we get an email in our inbox my husband and I are sure to read it in it's entirety. So many developmental milestones and little tips to explore your babies new skills.

Resource No. 3: Bumkins Sleeved Bib
Well they had me at rainbows, but lets get serious, these are the types of bibs you need to use on your little one. Less stains and less time doing laundry!

Resource No. 4: Gunamuna Sleep Sac Duvet (2.6)
Built to stand up to the Canadian cold, this awesome sleep sac is worth the splurge. If only they made them in adult sizes. I love the bottom zipper for easy diaper changes. This is just a really well designed product, which I am a sucker for.

Resource No. 5: A reminder to stop, slow down, and smell the roses🌹
It is so easy to become buried in the struggles of being a parent, especially with the isolation Covid has created. Our babies are becoming little humans in front of our eyes and we cannot turn back time.
